The Restoration of our Robbins 36' has been completedand we are ready to start the 2012 season! Southpaw was pulled from the water and shipped to Clark Fiberglass in the fall of 2009. She went through a total restoration. The entire hull was sand-blasted and removed all paint. Chuck Clark removed and replaced any bad wood and then spent most of the winter fiber glassing the entire hull from top to bottom including the deck. All running gear has been replaced with stainless steel including the rudder, new drive shaft and prop. All of the electrical wiring has been completely replaced and modernized. Southpaw was painted fighting lady yellow from the waterline to the rub rail and brilliant white topside. Carl Brennaman was contracted to provide new bow rail's, hand rails, radar arch, and 22 rail mounted rod holders and stern hand rails. In addition, we have all the electronics, sink and toilet. We now have fresh running water, new counter tops, Sirius satelite radio and weather. In August of 2010 Southpaw was repowered with a new Cummins 6BTA diesel engine, new yacht finished engine box, totally new fuel system weather tight hatches and flooring. As a result, we now can cook onboard and provide hot meals.
